Marine
Marine plywood is manufactured from durable face and core veneers, with few defects so it performs longer in humid and wet conditions and resists de-laminating and fungal attack. Constructed using waterproof adhesives to make it suitable for use in wet environments. Marine plywood is generally made of Douglas fir or Western Larch. Non-U.S. sources of marine plywood may use cedar or other woods for the fascia plies. All plies of wood are at least B grade, having knots, but without knotholes. The core may have a gap no larger than 1/8-inch throughout.

SOFTWOOD PLYWOOD
Made with softwood veneers glued in layers with alternating grain, and covered with softwood veneer. Uses include outdoor projects (exterior rated), carpentry and construction, shop cabinets, substrates, underlayment for floors and countertops.
Softwood plywood is constructed with face and back panels of softwood veneers: wood from needle or cone bearing trees. An odd number of inner plys, which are also softwood veneers, are sandwiched at right angles to each other between the face and back. These inner plys are laminated in alternating directions giving plywood its strength and durability. Generally not used for decorative purposes, this plywood, in its many grades, has endless hard working uses. Its main use, however, is in construction.
